Welcome back to my fairy tale and classics book retellings. From the title and the graphic, you can see that today’s post is dedicated to Peter Pan, Disney’s 1953 fantasy and adventure classic. There’s something incredibly nostalgic and timeless about Peter Pan and I think it is great that there have been a surge in these retellings over the last couple of years.
I haven’t read any so far and I’m looking forward to enjoying some of these and understanding the hype behind them.
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Never Never by Brianna Shrum
Nora and Kettle by Lauren Nicolle Taylor
Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry
The Neverland Wars by Audrey Greathouse
Alias Hook by Lisa Jensen
Second Star by Alyssa B. Sheinmel
The Child Thief by Gerald Brom
Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell
Pan: The Untold Stories of Neverland by K.R Thompson
I have just recently discovered on Goodreads that the last book is in fact the second of a series of four, so here is the link to the entire series:
Apologies, I try not to make that mistake because it does annoy me when I pick up a book and discover that it is the second or third etc in a series of books!!
And that is that.
If you know of any more Peter Pan retellings that I might have missed off, please comment and share your recommendations!
Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!
